ANTWERP, 7 January 2026 – Buysse & Partners Smart Living is investing in the residential project Rivus in Antwerp, developed by Straco Real Estate, acquiring 60 of the 173 apartments. This transaction underlines the ambition of both parties to significantly strengthen the supply of sustainable rental housing in the Antwerp region.

Rivus is being developed by Straco Real Estate and will comprise a total of 173 apartments and three commercial units, with construction scheduled to start in early 2026. Within this project, Buysse & Partners Smart Living is acquiring two buildings – representing 60 apartments – specifically designed for the residential rental market. This acquisition marks the fund’s largest purchase to date since its establishment in 2021. Sales of the remaining 113 apartments have also been launched by Straco Real Estate.
