DOWNTOWN REAL ESTATE is a team of passionate urban real estate developers founded in 2017 with a focus on mixed-use projects in the Belgian urban landscape.
The stake in Downtown coincided with a major transaction at the end of 2022 whereby 25 office buildings were purchased from the Befimmo real estate group for €104 million.

Baltisse, Filip Balcaen’s investment fund, and Straco Real Estate have joined forces and invested in Eastern European real estate together. The two funds own a majority stake in Romanian real estate developer Speedwell.
Speedwell is known as a developer of diverse projects: from office buildings through industrial sites to residential buildings. Speedwell can provide references in many major Romanian cities.
