STRACO REAL ESTATE TAKES OVER LIFE NV'S PARTICIPATION IN LIFE STAY IBERIA AND EXPANDS DEVELOPMENT PORTFOLIO

Ghent/Madrid, Date – Straco Real Estate is pleased to announce that it has taken over LIFE NV's participation in the joint venture Life Stay Iberia. This strategic move further strengthens Straco Real Estate's commitment to its operations in Spain. As part of this transition, the company will now operate under the name: Straco Real Estate Iberia.

Straco Real Estate would like to extend its sincere thanks to LIFE NV for its valuable participation and input in these projects over the past several years.

Straco Real Estate Iberia's current portfolio includes Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) projects, providing approximately 1.800 beds, in Sevilla, Salamanca and Valencia. All projects are fully operational and open for students since September 2024, achieving high occupancy rates across all properties. These projects have been delivered to the highest sustainability standards achieving top BREEAM certifications and are operated by YUGO, a global market leader in student accommodation.

As part of its growth strategy, Straco Real Estate Iberia has also recently acquired a hotel development project in Valencia’s city center, which will feature approximately 132 rooms, to be operated by NUMA Group. NUMA offers innovatively designed apartments and studios for modern travelers, blending the comfort and services of traditional hotels with the flexibility of short-term rentals. With its strong focus on technology-driven operations, NUMA enhances guest experiences and maximizes operational efficiency, making it an ideal partner for this centrally located, forward-looking development.

This acquisition underscores Straco Real Estate’s continued commitment to expanding its development portfolio in key markets and new asset classes.
